Course Structure:

• One-length square layer – Students learn the different types of layering.
• One-length round layers. (Both one and two incorporate side or full fringes, texturising, point cutting, and slicing.) Bob, long bob (lob)

Course Details:

Hairdressers gain full knowledge of the basic skills required for cutting. This course provides confidence-building as each student progresses at their own pace. It is an individually assessed course.

Each week, the first hour begins with a demonstration from the tutor (the cut for that week). After the demonstration, students will work on their own mannequin heads, and each student will be tutored according to their ability.

A mannequin head and cutting/styling tools (scissors, combs, brushes, hairdryers, gowns, clips, etc.) and towels are provided.
